One celebrity who could appear on Dancing With the Stars in season 18 recently spoke out about the possibility of his participation.

Australian pop singer Cody Simpson recently spoke to JustJared Jr. about his likely participation in Dancing With the Stars season 18, which is less than a month away.
"We haven't confirmed anything," Simpson said. "We're still talking about it, and I'm still trying to get opinions and figure out if I should do it. But it's a cool opportunity, so we'll see where it goes."

Simpson polled his Twitter followers in December after receiving an offer to appear on DWTS. The 17-year-old singer asked his followers if they would like to see him compete, to which he received an overwhelming positive response.
Assuming Simpson does participate, he suggeste that he would be confident in his chances of succeeding.
"I dance on stage all the time, so I don't know how I'd do as far as ballroom and stuff, but hopefully I would get some practice in and it would be good for me," he told JustJared Jr.
The official cast of Dancing With the Stars season 18 will be announced Tuesday, March 4 on Good Morning America.
So far, there have been a few rumored celebrities in the mix to compete. Most notably, Olympian/reality star Bruce Jenner, TV personality NeNe Leakes and Full House actress Candace Cameron Bure have been heavily rumored.
Dancing With the Stars season 18 premieres Monday, March 17 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
