The next episode of The Big Bang Theory is titled The Friendship Turbulence, and it aptly features Sheldon and Wolowitz's friendship being put to the test. CBS released a plot synopsis for the episode recently, revealing that Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will try to create peace in the Sheldon-Wolowitz conflict.

Meanwhile, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) is offered an "embarrassing" role in a movie while Raj (Kunal Nayyar) asks Amy (Mayim Bialik) to write to a woman on his own behalf.

Sheldon Says Amy "Altered" Him Too Much?

The episode will be a change of pace from the past two episodes, which have been focused on Sheldon and Amy's relationship. The two shared a kiss for the first time in episode 15, which caused Sheldon to have second thoughts about their relationship in episode 16.

Sheldon asked Amy to sign an agreement to end the relationship but she managed to convince him that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) was trying to manipulate him into breaking up with her due to a dispute between the two friends.

The pair decided to remain in a relationship by the end of the episode, which will likely continue through the next episode, pleasing fans of "Shamy" everywhere.

The Friendship Turbulence will feature Sheldon and Wolowitz on a plane together, as seen by the promo clip for the episode.

The Big Bang Theory season 7 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
