Julia and Joel's daughter may be taking their breakup the hardest.

Mark Returns For Sarah But Faces Competition From Hank?

In a short clip of Thursday's episode of Parenthood, Sydney has a mini outburst during a trip to the garden.

She tells her mother that she forgot her "jammies with the green and pink polka dots" at home and needs them for pajama day at school the following morning. But, she's spending the night at her father's house.

Joel & Julia Unhappy Living Apart?

"I will go home and grab your funky pajamas and bring them over to dad's," Julia says as a solution.

Sydney isn't satisfied and replies, "I don't want you to drop them off. I want to stay at our house," as Ed and all the other children overhear.

Julia's attempt to convince her daughter to stay at Joel's place is unsuccessful since Sydney calls his apartment "stupid" and says it "smells like paint."

Fans of the NBC show may be wondering if Joel will ever be able to forgive Julia for kissing Ed. Erika Christensen, who plays Julia, recently spoke with Parade magazine about the turmoil and said she believes the TV couple can overcome it.

"They've got ten years of a loving relationship under their belts and, in the interest of their children and everything, I think they can," she said.

"It's just such an entirely new situation. Every aspect of their lives is new. Julia not working and Joel working. Victor. They're in a whole new place and they haven't had time to properly adjust to it. I think that's really what this is-their adjustment to their new situation. It's just really rough."
