There will be a mystery element involved when Once Upon a Time returns for the second half of season 3, in regards to the curse.

Charming "Facing Ultimate Fears" in Rapunzel Episode?

Regina (Lana Parrilla) stopped Pan's (Robbie Kay) evil curse in the winter finale of Once, but ended up wiping out Storybrooke completely in the process. The series will pick up with the show's various fairy tale characters trying to figure out what happened and what to do moving forward. TVLine visited the set of Once recently and uncovered some juicy tidbits on what fans should expect.

"It's kind of creepy, but good creepy - a little like a horror film," said Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow . Jennifer Morrison (Emma) added: "It's supernatural in a different, adult way."

With their memories essentially wiped clean, Regina, Snow, Charming and the others will barely have time to even consider what happened with the curse.

"It's almost like there hasn't been time for us to be terrified about what happened, because we're still 'on the first page,' gathering everyone," Goodwin explained, adding that there are not enough "puzzle pieces" to even start figuring things out.

Meanwhile, "Wicked" is coming in the form of Zelena, a.k.a. the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader), who comes into town with her secret villainous identity kept safely guarded.

"All we know is that she's something of a kindred spirit to Snow White, and she seems so genuinely kind, which I think is really the core of what makes her so wicked," Goodwin said.

Once Upon a Time season 3 returns Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
