Dancing With the Stars producers have made more adjustments to the show ahead of season 18, including moving around some of the set.

New Dancing With the Stars Twist To Either Be A "Train Wreck" or "Fantastic"?

There were several tweaks made to Dancing With the Stars in season 17 but not all of them will see the light of day in season 18. Season 17 introduced the "glitter pit," where the celebrities and their pro partners were forced to sit and watch the show from the dance floor. The glitter pit is now no longer.

On Sunday, Dancing With the Stars co-host Tom Bergeron confirmed on Twitter via Wetpaint: "Glitter Pit Kaput #DWTS18," when asked by a fan what would happen to the divisive addition.

Previously, the couples were put in an area separated from the stage, and the show may going back to that format in season 18, though Bergeron did not mention anything about that. Dancing pro Sharna Burgess previously said that she hoped they would "get rid of" the glitter pit moving forward.

Bergeron also tweeted to judge Bruno Tonioli that "they've moved the judges' desk back where it belongs #FengShui," another tweak the producers had made in season 17.

Another big change that has been made to Dancing With the Stars ahead of season 18 is the replacement of co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet with Erin Andrews. Bergeron commented on the quick decision to get rid of Burke-Charvet and hire Andrews.

"I agree with [Brooke] that the timing could have been better," Bergeron said on Twitter. "As her friend I only have props for how she's handled it."

Dancing With the Stars season 18 premieres Monday, March 17 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
