The 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship bracket was announced Monday and the four No. 1 seeds are Conneticutt, Notre Dame, Tennessee and South Carolina.

Thirty-two teams were given automatic bids due to conference wins and the other thirty-two were selected as at-large bids.

The first-round games begins on Saturday, March 22. The Final Four games will be held in Nashville, Tenn.

Geno Auriemma and his undefeated Connecticut Huskies will kick things off Sunday night when they play Priarie View. Last year, the Huskies won the championship over the Louisville Cardinals in a blowout score of 93-60.

UConn has won all eight NCAA finals in which they have played: 1995, 2000, '02, '03, '04, '09, '10 and '13.

In 29 seasons at UConn, Auriemma has won 8 national titles, 6 Naismith Coach of the Year award recognitions, 19 Big East regular season titles and 18 Big East tournament titles. He also coached Team USA to a gold medal in the 2012 London Games.

Meanwhile, five teams will be making their first trip to the NCAA Women's tournament: Akron, North Dakota, South Dakota, Winthrop and Wright State, Bleacher Report noted.
