Rookie Blue will be back for it's fifth season this July!

On Monday, ABC announced that the cop drama will premiere on Thursday, June 17 at 10 p.m., which for fans is later than expected. Veteran characters will be back, as Missy Peregym (Andy McNally), Gregory Smith (Dov Epstein), Ben Bass (Sam Swarek), Traviz Milne (Chris Diaz), Enuka Okuma (Traci Nash), Charlotte Sullivan (Gail Peck), Peter Mooney (Nick Collins), Priscilla Faia (Chloe Price), Matt Gordon (Oliver Shaw), Rachel Ancheril (Marlo Cruz), Melanie Nicholls-King (Noelle Williams), Adam MacDonald (Steve Peck) and Aliyah O'Brien (Holly Stewart) will be returning.

However, the show will introduce two new characters, as one of them is a rookie. Matthew Owen will be playing Duncan Moore, and is descrobed as confident and always eager to impress people. His nickname is "Selfie."

The other new face is John Jarvis and he comes to 15 Division with an agenda. He wants to find out about the precinct, and most importantly will shake up partnerships and relationships.

Last season ended with Sam fighting for his life in a hospital after he was shot. Fans can remember Andy being by Sam's side during the ambulance ride, in which she told him that she loved him, despite having feelings for Nick.

Andy's future with Nick or Sam is unclear, and fans can expect for the show to play out which man she'll eventually end up with.
