As Will Gardner made his exit from The Good Wife, fans got a glimpse at the flared up tensions between Alicia and Peter in a sneak preview that followed the latest episode.

As the shocking episode, Dramatics, Your Honor, came to a close, CBS gave viewers a sense of what to expect from the rest of season 5. Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is seen unraveling and flailing in the preview, completely broken down she takes to the bottle and shares her remorse with her former colleagues Diane (Christine Baranski) and Kalinda (Archie Panjabi). But the highlight of the preview is her ugly confrontation with Peter (Chris Noth). She is a disheveled mess, her eyes tired from crynig, in the kitchen of her home as Peter is seen agitatedly fighting her.

"If you think your life would be better with Will, then you are kidding yourself," he says.

"Stop it, Peter!" she warns him.

"No! I am not going to let you throw away this marriage because you have some idealized notion of a man who you are not even sure cared about you!" he retorts.

The abuses fly as the argument hits a fever pitch.

"You're a bastard," Alicia assertively states.

"And you're a selfish b*****!" Peter strikes back. Adding that they are all that they have.

As fans of the show are still reeling from the sudden death of the legal drama's leading man, they seek closure, and the next episode will be doing just that by paying somewhat of a fitting tribute to Will.

In the preview for The Last Call, devastation is written on everyone's faces -- Alicia, Diane, Kalinda -- as they try to come to terms with this evil twist of fate.
