Arrow's executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andre Kreisberg suggested that the fight between the Huntress and the Canary will be "comic-booky" in the upcoming episode of season 2.

Things will tense up as Oliver's daughter, Helena (the Huntress) will be back in town and will be up to no good. Helena will be taking hostages, one of whom will be Laurel (Katie Cassidy), who is the Canary's sister. As the Canary sets out to rescue her sister she will finally face her arch enemy.

In a recent interview Guggenheim spoke about the episode which is inpired by the DC comic Birds of Prey.

"It's beloved," Guggenheim said. "We're excited to be doing our version of it."

Kreisberg added that the episode will actually bring Laurel's journey into focus.

"This episode is really about how Laurel gets her groove back," he said. "It becomes an issue of what Sara is willing to do to protect her sister from the Huntress."

He also went on to stress upon Sara's moral code and how that would influence how far she could go to save her sister.

"Remember, Sara was in the League of Assassins, not the League of Heroes. She has a different moral code than Oliver."

Guggenheim eventually suggested that the episode would be treated with ample levity. "It is comic-booky, and we address that," he said. "Felicity can't help but comment on how heightened things seem to be getting."

Here's the entire synopsis for Birds of Prey:

"When the Huntress met the Canary - When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it's only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank's case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn't like the way he is forced to go about it. John Behring directed the episode written by Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley."

Birds of Prey will air on March 26 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
