In recent interviews at the PaleyFest creator Michelle Ashford and actor Michael Sheen dished about season 2 of Masters of Sex.

The duo gave away a few spoilers in their respective interviews with HitFlix. While talking about the next season Ashford said that she had thought it would be daunting to work on it but that it ended up being enjoyable and easy. She went on to speak about what fans can expect from the Showtime series this year. As the director discussed the challenge of packing in the 30-year-old career span of Bill Masters and Virginia, she said time jumps were employed to move into a more eventful phase of their story.

"We make a time jump in season 2, it starts very much right on the heels of where season 1 ended but then we do make a time jump during the season that allows us to get further down the road," she said.

But she also added that fans will not be greeted with makeovers for the characters, as she wasn't a big fan of the same. She also spoke about a lot of additions to the cast and how the new characters would "radically change" the world of the fixtures on the show.

Sheen also spoke to the film website about how is character would take to being a dad. When he was asked if Bill would make for a good father, Sheen quipped: "I don't think he will be winning any awards."
