LeBron James will appear on the "Late Show" with David Letterman next Tuesday, CBS announced.

James, 27 was crowned the most valuable player on Thursday's 2012 NBA Finals, leading the Heat to a 121-106 win over the Thunder to win in five games.

James had 26 points, including five three-pointers, with 11 rebounds and 13 assists on Thursday’s game.

“I know what got me to this point: hard work and dedication,” James said during the trophy ceremony. “Last year I played with a lot of hate. I play this game with love and dedication.”

This marked the second franchise championship title for the Heat and the first for James in his nine years in the NBA.

The "Late Show" airs at 11:35 p.m. EST.
