Just as Piper (Taylor Schilling) gets meaner on the second season of Orange is the New Black, so will Gloria (Selenis Leyva), according to a new report.

'Crazy Eyes' Getting Out Of Prison In Season 2?

"You're going to see Gloria like you've never seen her before," Leyva teased to E! Online recently.

Gloria, the cook who took control of the kitchen from Red (Kate Mulgrew) at the end of season 1, will have her true self exposed in season 2.

Piper & Larry Do "Irreparable Damage" To Their Relationship?

"There's a toughness in Gloria," Leyva continued. "She was funny in the first season, but this time you're going to see that there's a menacing woman lying underneath. You'll get to see what made Gloria who she is and why she ended up in prison."

Leyva has previously discussed Gloria having a really important first episode. She told Fox News Latino that she "cried" when reading the first episode for her character.

"The writers develop a beautiful voice for her," she revealed. "Her survival, her toughness will speak to a lot of women. Her story is one that many women will relate to. Season 2 you really get to meet a lot of new characters and you will be surprised at the situations the characters get themselves into."

Netflix's prison drama will be premiering all 13 episodes of season 2 at once on their website, and fans will be able to see Gloria's journey, as well as all of the women's journeys, very soon.

Orange is the New Black season 2 premieres in full on Friday, June 6 through Netflix streaming.
