NBC confirmed Tuesday that No Doubt front woman Gwen Stefani will join the fall season of The Voice as a coach.

'I Don't Know' About Returning To The Voice, Adam Levine Says

Stefani will perform live on May 5 of The Voice, which is moving ever closer to this season's winner according to Tuesday's Los Angeles Times. Pharrell Williams, also a new judge, will perform. Could they be performing their hit duet Can I Have It Like That?

So the line-up will be original coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine with Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani. Christina Aguilera, another original coach, returns for season 8. Original coach Cee Lo Green is not coming back at all to the show.

Perhaps The Voice will spark a comeback for Stefani whose 2012 album with No Doubt failed to go platinum. (Their three preceding albums all did). The move certainly worked for Jennifer Lopez, who after judging on American Idol really came back on the scene.

'The Voice' just had more eliminations last night. The bottom three were Bria Kelly, Kat Perkins and Tess Boyer, who vowed she would avoid ever being in the bottom three again according to an earlier Enstars report. Perkins, who sang Paris (Ooh La La) was Instant-Saved, but unfortunately, Boyer (team Shakira) and Kelly (team Usher) were sent packing.
