Netflix's popular prison drama Orange is the New Black has officially been renewed for season 3, one month ahead of its second season premiere, according to new reports.
Real-Life Alex Vause Reveals What Orange is the New Black Got Wrong
Laura Prepon, who plays Alex Vause on Orange is the New Black, spilled the beans on season 3 on her Instagram account Monday afternoon.
"It's official!! Season 3!! #oitnb #alexvause #backtothebighouse," she captioned on a new photo. The photo features a white board with "Season 3 Titles" marked on it. There is a series of colorful titles for possible episodes underneath. Some of them include:

With Prepon's announcement, several major publications picked up the story and confirmed the news. The third season has been given the green light a month before the second season even premieres on Netflix.
Netflix recently released the official season 2 trailer for Orange is the New Black, with main character Piper (Taylor Schilling) sounding much tougher than she was at the start of season 1.
"I am prepared to behave like a model inmate and I feel I no longer pose a threat," Piper says, sounding like she has rehearsed her speech several times.
In another scene, she seems to be threatening someone:
"I am a lone wolf and a vicious one. Don't make me rip your throat out."
