As Once Upon a Time winds down with the finale of season 3, the show might go in yet another new direction after a trip to the Enchanted Forest.
Regina & Robin Hood's Relationship 'Tested' In Final Episodes of Once Upon a Time?
ABC has released the official plot synopsis for the final two episodes of Once Upon a Time season 3. Episode 21 is titled Snow Drifts while episode 22, the finale episode, is titled There's No Place Like Home, an obvious nod to The Wizard of Oz. Much like the ending of The Wizard of Oz, the final episode of Once Upon a Time may feature a world-bending twist.
"While Mary Margaret and David celebrate the naming of their son at a coronation in Granny's Diner, Emma and Hook are pulled into Zelena's time portal and find themselves in the Enchanted Forest of the past," the synopsis reads. "But in their quest to discover a way back, they must be careful not to change ANYTHING or risk altering the lives of their friends and family -- as well as their very own existence."
Kristen Bell As Anna From Frozen To Appear In Future Episode of Once Upon a Time?
The promo for the two-hour finale shows Emma (Jennifer Morrison) about to get sucked into the portal, and the force is too much for her to overcome, based on the plot synopsis.
With the possibility of Emma and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) altering the past, it could have major ramifications in the future for every character. In a sense, this could be another major reset for the show going forward into season 4.
Once Upon a Time season 3 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
