Castle and Beckett are ready to get married on the upcoming final episode of season 6, but there might be a slight hiccup: Beckett is actually still married to someone. ABC released a sneak peek of the episode Tuesday, with Castle and Beckett filing marriage documents.
"T minus 72 hours until we're married!" Beckett says, delighted. The engaged couple waits in line and then present papers. Castle presents his divorce paperwork, but the worker asks for Beckett's divorce papers as well.
Castle & Beckett Getting Married During Season 6 Finale?
Both Beckett and Castle are confused by this, but the worker tells Beckett that she is still officially married to someone else.
"I'm married?!" Beckett says, confused.
This might be a "charming ne'er-do-well" from Beckett's past, as described in the season finale plot synopsis. Eddi McClintock is set to play a man from Beckett's past who threatens to ruin her and Castle's big day.
"Castle and Beckett's long-awaited wedding is almost here, but when a shocking surprise threatens to ruin the big day, they are sent on a wild mission filled with masked men, angry bikers and a charming ne'er-do-well from Beckett's past," the synopsis reads.
Is is still unknown if the couple is actually going to be married in the season 6 finale.
Castle season 6 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
