'Parenthood' Season 6 Renewal: Cast Coming Back For Final Season [VIDEO]
Good news for Parenthood fans: The NBC show has been renewed for another season. However, this also comes with some bad news since season 6 will be the final one.
Fans will get to see the Braverman family for 13 more episodes at the same time on Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST. This means that season 5’s cliffhangers will be answered, especially whether or not Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) will mend their broken marriage.
Joel and Julia's relationship went downhill after she confessed to kissing Ed last season. Julia attempted to salvage her marriage, but Joel was hesitant and even confessed that things weren't working even before she engaged in the kiss.
With tears in his eyes, the father of their two children explained that he felt hurt by her displeasure of being a stay-at-home mom and revealed that he considered her kiss cheating. Will the couple reunite on the last season?
Another question that will get answered is if Amber (Mae Whitman) is really pregnant with Ryan’s (Matt Lauria) baby.
Some of the cast showed their excitement and gratitude via social media.
"Thank you Bob Greenblatt and @NBCUniversal for giving @nbcparenthood the chance to say a proper goodbye,” Lauren Graham, who plays Sarah Braverman, tweeted on Sunday.
“Celebrating Season 6 like only a Braverman can. Thanks for the support, gang! We feel the love,” Sam Jaeger, who plays Joel Graham, wrote on Instagram along with a video of himself dancing.
NBC’s Parks and Recreation will also end after next season while the political drama starring Katherine Heigl, State of Affairs, and A to Z with Rashida Jones and Cristin Milioti will premiere.
