The final episode of Bones Season 9 is set to really change things moving forward, particularly for Booth (David Boreanaz).
Booth & Brennan's Lives Uncertain In Bones Finale As FBI Is 'Poisoned?'
As seen by the promo for the finale episode, Bones is about to become very intense. Monday night's episode ended with Booth getting shot and the finale will pick up in the moments after, with Brennan (Emily Deschanel) rushing to his side at the hospital. By the looks of it, Booth is not in good shape.
Boreanaz and Deschanel spoke about the dramatic shooting with reporters this week, both assuring that this will have effects on the series as it progresses into Season 10.

"[The shooting] changes everything for awhile," Deschanel warned. "Not only Booth and Brennan, between them, but also between kind of everything, Booth's job, possibly Brennan's job...I mean, everything!"
Boreanaz clarified that things would change "for the good," adding, "there will be also things that they'll have to adjust to. I keep saying adjusting because it's definitely going to be different."
Both Boreanaz and Deschanel told E! Online at the Fox Upfronts that "Booth may not be in the FBI next season," and that "someone may not survive."
Fans are likely in for a roller coaster of a finale based on the amount of hype going on. Luckily, there will definitely be a Season 10 for fans to enjoy in fall 2014.
The Bones season 9 finale is set to air Monday, May 19 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
