The first trailer of NCIS: New Orleans shows Agent Pride solving some new cases and demanding things be done the way he wants them. "My city, my way," he says.
In one scene he also tells Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), "Old school still works in Louisiana," after he throws someone on the street.

Yet, Agent Pride also makes sure to have some fun in New Orleans. He's seen in bed with a woman and later dancing in a bar. And, as promised by the show's executive producer, Gary Glasberg, the festive city is a big theme in the new series.
"I want the city to be as much a part of those conversations as anything. To be able to do that walk-and-talk through the city is exciting for me," he told The Associated Press. "And it's different. And that kind of difference is what I'm trying for."
The spin-off will air at 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday nights after the 7 p.m. episode of NCIS. NCIS: Los Angeles will also move to Mondays at 9 p.m. EST.
NCIS: New Orleans also stars Lucas Black as Special Agent Christopher Lasalle, Zoe McLellan as NCIS Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody and CCH Pounder as Jefferson Parish Coroner Doctor Loretta Wade.
