The investigation into who murdered Nick Fallon may take a backseat to the other erupting drama affecting Salem's citizens on Days of Our Lives.

Nicole and Eric Make Love?

While it seems like half the town serves as suspects in the murder, the other half of residents appear to be trying to straighten out the messes that are their love lives -- but in some cases, things are only about to get messier.

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has been hiding a huge secret from her fiancé Eric (Greg Vaughan) for a long time. He left his dream of being a priest after sleeping with Kristen, unaware that the night it happened, he was drugged, meaning it didn't count against him. Nicole has had proof proving his innocence in the matter, but afraid it would cause him to leave her, she has kept it hidden. However, Daniel (Shawn Christian) has become aware of the situation now, and threatened Nicole that she needed to tell Eric the truth, or he would do it for her.

Daniel Threates Nicole?

Instead of that, however, Nicole did the unthinkable -- she convinced Eric to sleep with her, for real. Now, the truth has become even more complicated, because not only did she have proof allowing Eric to become a priest again, but she jeopardized his future as one for good. It won't be enough to appease Daniel, however, and he will issue her an ultimatum, demanding she tell the truth.

While Daniel is confronting Nicole, Eric will tell his mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall) about his once again rekindled plans to marry Nicole, and soon. His family has been extremely distrusting to her, and his news could spur them to so some investigating of their own.

Meanwhile, Eric's brother, Brady (Eric Martsolf) will rekindle the relationship he previously ended with the destructive Theresa (Jen Lilley), after John's (Drake Hogestyn) efforts to push the two further apart backfire on him. Brady previously ended things after Theresa tried to tempt him back into his own destructive patterns and behaviors with cocaine, but he turned her away. Now that the two are back together, however, it could lead Brady down a terrible path.
