'Dance Moms' Season 4: Maddie Ziegler Looking To Break Away From Reality Show Amid 'Many Opportunities'? [VIDEO]
Maddie Ziegler is one of the most talked about reality stars of the moment, thanks to her performance in Sia's Chandelier music video, which has so far garnered over 14 million hits on YouTube. Now, there is new speculation that the pint-sized star of Dance Moms might be looking to break away from her hit reality television show to pursue other projects that will help make her an even bigger star than she already is.
Is Maddie Ziegler Unhappy With The Drama On Dance Moms Season 4?
In a new interview with Richard Wilkins from Australia's Today Show, the 11-year-old dancer hints that she might be ready to move on from the Lifetime Channel series.
"The TV show started when I was 8 years old, and everyone was really young and we've been doing it for a few seasons now and I've gotten a hang of it," Maddie adds. "I'm used to having all of the cameras around. I've gotten so many more opportunities from this and just because of it everyone now knows me on the streets and is stopping me to ask me for a picture or an autograph."
The young television star also says that she enjoyed doing Sia's music video with her unconventional dance moves as it helped her perform "out of the box."
She says, "It was completely different and it was a stretch for me because I'm used to doing other dances and this time around I didn't have to worry about having perfect feet or legs. I actually liked it that I looked crazy and weird in the video."
Meanwhile, the first part of Season 4 of Dance Moms ended earlier this month with a battle episode between Maddie and fellow dancer Chloe. The Lifetime network hasn't confirmed if it plans to bring back the popular reality television show for a fifth season yet.
