The next episode of Awkward, which is in it's fourth season, airs tonight on MTV and based on the previews things are bound to get, well, awkward. In tonight's episode 7, appropriatly titled After Hours, Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) must deal with the complications that come with every relationship, no matter how platonic.

"No one wants to see their ex date other people," says Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) in the preview for tonight's episode, and whether Jenna likes it or not, it may in fact be true. Old feelings die hard or, in some cases, don't die at all. This seems to be the case here.

After Hours centers around Jenna's sense of self in relation to the people around her. She cares about her friends and wants her ex to be happy. In knowing these things to be true, she goes ahead and tries to help. Little does she know that wanting something and actually dealing with the reality of it are two completely separate things.

Things go awry when Jenna successfully sets up her ex Matty (Beau Mirchoff) with Eva (Elizabeth Whitson). Jenna thinks it's a good idea. She's in a good place in her life and wants Marty to "move on" the way she has, but no sooner has pushed him into the arms of another girl that Jenna realizes the truth: She still has feelings for Matty. Of course the only thing to make this more complicated is that Jenna is still seeing Luke (Evan Williams).

Will she try to sabotage Matty's relationship? Embrace her own? Audiences will just have to wait and see.
