Dancing With the Stars pro Tristan MacManus is leaving the show behind for its British counterpart, Strictly Come Dancing.

Erin Andrews 'Sent Packing' from Dancing With the Stars After Only One Season Co-Hosting

MacManus has been a pro dancer on five seasons of Dancing With the Stars but he will be transferring over to Strictly Come Dancing in the fall, according to Digital Spy. The dancer did not compete in Season 18 of Dancing With the Stars, nor did he participate in the Dance Troupe.

MacManus has not been particularly successful in his stint on Dancing With the Stars, placing low in most of his five seasons. Season 13, his debut season, was his most successful, coming in fifth place with TV personality Nancy Grace. In Season 14 he came in eighth with Gladys Knight, while he came in 13th with Pamela Anderson in Season 15, 12th in Season 16 with Dorothy Hamill and 10th with Valerie Harper in Season 17.

Meryl Davis & Maks Chmerkovskiy Getting 'Touchy Feely' After Winning DWTS?

In similar news, former Strictly Come Dancing champion Artem Chigvintsev, who was a featured player on the latest season of Dancing With the Stars, has confirmed that he will stay in America and not go back to the British show.

It is possible that Chigvintsev could be bumped up to being a competing dancer on Dancing With the Stars, especially if the rumors are true about current dancers Maks Chmerkovskiy and Derek Hough potentially leaving DWTS.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date yet. It will return to its regular Mondays at 8 p.m.
