Additionally, Corey Stoll is set to guest star in the upcoming season of Homeland as Sandy Bachman, who is the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan. He is also described as a "rising star" in the agency.
Stoll is most widely known for his standout role as troubled politician Peter Russo in Season 1 of House of Cards.
Production is beginning on Homeland this June and will continue through the year. The series is filming in Cape Town, South Africa, which will double as the Middle East.
Season 4 sees Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) assuming her new position as Station Chief in Islamabad and Kabul. It is not known if the entire season is to be set in the Middle East, but this would be a great departure for the show that was so heavily focused in the U.S. for its first three seasons.
Homeland Season 4 premieres in fall 2014 on Showtime, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date. It will likely return to its regular Sundays at 9 p.m. timeslot.
