There is new insight centering on a new Homeland character set to be played by Corey Stoll in the upcoming fourth season of the series.
Saul Allied With Carrie In Middle East In Homeland Season 4?
Stoll (House of Cards) is set to play a new character on Season 4 of Homeland named Sandy Bachman. This character is the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan who is described as a "rising star" in the agency. Stoll recently spoke with E! Online about his character and previewed who he will be working with frequently.
"I'm the station chief in Pakistan and up-and-coming in the agency," Stoll teased. "I think that's all I can say, I'm sorry!" However, he soon admitted: "I am working with Claire Danes."
Carrie's Baby A 'Big Theme' Of Season 4 While Stationed In Islamabad?
Danes' character Carrie will be the Station Chief in Islamabad and Kabul in the new season of the show, marking a big departure from her on again-off again position at the CIA in the first three seasons.
Stoll's character isn't the only new character set to make their Homeland debut in Season 4. Actress Laila Robins is set to be a series regular on the show as Martha Boyd, U.S. Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Homeland Season 4 premieres in fall 2014 on Showtime, though the network has not yet announced an air date. It will likely return in September or October, based on the premiere dates of the previous three seasons. It is also likely to return to its regular Sundays at 9 p.m. timeslot.
