A major character on Sons of Anarchy will be in jail in the final season of the motorcycle drama, based on new photos taken from the set.

'Imposing' Prison Guard & Hardened Soldier Introduced In Final Season?

SPOILERS AHEAD:

New photos of Jax (Charlie Hunnam) wearing an orange prison outfit were posted on Just Jared this week, revealing that the character will or will have spent some time in jail. Emblazoned on one of his pant legs is "SJCCF," which is the San Joaquin County Correctional Facility.

It is likely that Jax's imprisonment is a result of the deal he worked out with the District Attorney in Season 6 in order to take the responsibility for Tara (Maggie Siff) as well as the club and all of their shady dealings.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 Premiere Details Revealed?

While in prison, Jax will presumably come into contact with upcoming guest star Marilyn Manson's character, Ron Tully. The new character is described as a "white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax uses to expand his power base."

Manson explained in the FX announcement for his character that "Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's. So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date yet.
