Yet another star of Discovery Channel's hit reality series Amish Mafia has run into trouble with the law after causing a three-car accident in Lancaster City on Friday.

Esther Schmucker Confirms 'Amish Mafia' Return In Cryptic Facebook Post?

Esther Schmucker told police she wasn't paying attention while driving on the 1300 block of Harrisburg Pike June 13, and struck another vehicle, Lancaster Online reports.

That vehicle then went on to strike the vehicle in front of it, driven by an unidentified 59-year-old woman who was treated for injuries at the scene.

Schmucker was cited with summary careless driving due to her being distracted while operating a motor vehicle, and can either plead guilty and pay a fine, or plead not-guilty and dispute the charge in district court. She would likely have no need to face jail time.

Her brother, John, has not been so lucky, as he was recently sentenced to a three-month prison term for receiving 10 driving violations on a suspended license.

At his May 21 sentencing, cast attorney Steven Breit unintentionally revealed that despite producers and the cast hinting that they were no longer going to film episodes for the show after a dispute, that filming for a fourth season was in fact taking place.

Outside the courtroom after the verdict was handed down, Breit confirmed to Lancaster Online that John's sentencing wouldn't affect his appearance on the show, which he said was filming its fourth season at the time.

"I've been assured they will be able to work around this," Breit said. "The show will continue."

Production crews were even present at the courthouse, though they only filmed outside the front doors and did not appear inside.

Production on the show has reportedly been on hiatus since February 26, and the final episode of the third season aired April 8, showing cast members including Lebanon Levi Stoltzfus, Esther & John, Jolin Zimmerman and Caleb all refusing to be filmed any longer.

None of the cast has confirmed whether they would return.
