Adding on to the rumors that Bruce Jenner was supposed to be in the recently-ended season of Dancing With the Stars, there is new information on who he was supposed to be partnered with.

Kristyn Burtt of AfterBuzz TV shared some juicy information this week regarding the original lineup intended for Dancing With the Stars Season 18. The reporter posted a video on Instagram revealing everything that was supposed to happen before Jenner dropped out at the last minute.

Jenner was originally slated to be paired up with Sharna Burgess, according to Burtt, but the famous dad to the Jenner/Kardashian family had to "film in Thailand" so he had to drop out of the season.

Burgess wound up partnered with Olympic ice dancer Charlie White instead, with the couple ultimately coming in fifth place. Peta Murgatroyd was originally supposed to be partnered with Charlie White before the switch up but she was moved over to singer James Maslow, who she finished in fourth with.

Maslow was supposed to be partnered with Karina Smirnoff. Amid the mix up, Smirnoff was assigned to former NHL player Sean Avery at the last minute, who said he only wanted to work with her.

With this information, it seems that Season 18 may have turned out entirely differently. Maslow proved to be a successful contestant with Murgatroyd, landing perfect scores on different occasions. Smirnoff likely would've placed better if she was with him rather than Avery, who placed eleventh.

On the flip side, Burgess may not have done as well with Jenner, as older men have traditionally not gone very far in Dancing With the Stars.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date. It will be returning to its regular Mondays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
