CBS published a sneak peek video of the first Head of Household competition for Big Brother 16 Tuesday, revealing which eight houseguests will be competing in the first round.

It appears that the Big Brother 16 cast members will be going into the house in halves. CBS released a video of eight houseguests competing for HOH, with one of them slated to become one of the first Head of Households of the season.
Among the contestants entering the house first to compete in the competition are: Amber Borzota, Cody Calafiore, Devin Shepherd, Donny Thompson, Frankie Grande, Joey Van Pelt, Nicole Franzel and Paola Shea.
Big Brother 16 Twists: Two Head of Households & More Revealed
The competition involves the houseguests balancing on a rotating log while holding onto a kite with a string. The last houseguest standing becomes the Head of Household.
This competition was played in Big Brother 15, though it involved the houseguests holding onto fake bullhorns. GinaMarie Zimmerman won the competition.
These eight houseguests may not know that a second group of eight houseguests will be entering the house and competing for their own HOH. Among the second group of contestants are: Brittany Martinez, Caleb Reynolds, Christine Brecht, Derrick Levasseur, Hayden Voss, Jocasta Odom, Victoria Rafaeli and Zach Rance.
Presumably, the "second" Head of Household competition will be aired Thursday night, since Big Brother 16 is doing a two-night rollout for the premiere.
Big Brother 16 premieres Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
