The love triangle between Hilary, Neil and Devon is about to spin out of control on The Young and the Restless after a certain encounter.

Hilary may have married Neil (Kristoff St. John), who is twice her age, but that won't stop her feelings for his son. And, on the July 3 episode, Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary find themselves in an elevator together and he drops a major bomb.
"She's not expecting him to take this opportunity to say, 'I love you and you love me.' It scares the crap out of her," Mishael Morgan, who plays Hilary, told TVGuide.com in a new interview.

Although it looks like the two will kiss, Morgan revealed that a smooch won't happen just yet. "It gets really close to a kiss but Hilary hits the stop button again - this time accidentally with her behind. The doors open and Neil is standing there," she said.
Morgan didn't reveal whether or not Devon and Hilary eventually get together, however she did hint that there's much more drama to come.
"Just when she thinks she's made up her mind and wants Devon, she's thrown a curveball that no one - not even Hilary and certainly not Mishael Morgan - ever saw coming. It's huge!" the actress said.
Yet, Morgan also explained that her character truly loves her husband. "Let's face it, Hilary's got daddy issues. Her father wasn't there for her growing up and now here's Neil, loving and respectful and supportive. This is her ticket to happiness," she said.
