'Homeland' Season 4 Spoilers: Premiere Date Revealed As Saul Tells Carrie 'Happy Hunting' In New Trailer [VIDEO]
A first look trailer has been released for the upcoming fourth season of Showtime's Homeland along with a release date, and it looks like Carrie (Claire Danes) will be in more danger than ever before.
Homeland's Quinn Choking Dar Adal In New Trailer
Showtime released a new one-minute trailer for Season 4 of Homeland on Friday, revealing Carrie, Saul (Mandy Patinkin), Quinn (Rupert Friend) and more in a new location: the Middle East.
The trailer shows footage of Saul and Carrie having a discussion about secrets. Saul wisely says, "The tyranny of secrets..." to which Carrie answers, "The tyranny of keeping them."
Carrie Dealing With 'American Bureaucracy' As Much As Islamic Militants In Season 4
Footage of Carrie doing her job in Islamabad is shown, and several officials appear to be angry with her, but she does not back down. When a lieutenant calls Carrie a "monster," she quickly comes back with "get the f--- out of my face."
Another scene shows angry citizens approaching Carrie and Quinn's car, with Carrie ducking down and Quinn looking like he has shot a citizen.
"Happy hunting," Saul tells Carrie, ominously.
The trailer at the end reveals that Homeland is set to premiere its fourth season on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime. This is the latest start for a season of Homeland yet. The series has debuted in late September in both Season 2 and 3.
Showtime also released a promotional poster for Season 4, which features Carrie wearing a red hijab in the middle of a crowd of other women wearing black ones.
