Fringe actress Blair Brown, who played Nina Sharp in the Fox series, has signed on to appear in Orange is the New Black, according to a Monday report by TVGuide.com. Nothing has been announced on the character Brown will be playing.

Brown joins Oscar winner Mary Steenburgen as new guest stars for the third season of Netflix's prison "dramedy." Steenburgen is set to play the mother of George "Pornstache" Mendez (Pablo Schreiber) in Season 3, though Pornstache himself will not appear at all in the new episodes.

"I'm not taking part in the third season," Schreiber revealed previously. "I'm a member of a show called The Brink that's going to be on HBO. It's a half-hour comedy with Jack Black and Tim Robbins and me [as] the three leads. I'm really excited about it."

Schreiber did say that he still might come back to the series and that Season 2 would not necessarily be the end of Pornstache.

"I would go anywhere that [series creator Jenji Kohan's] working, and I know that our paths will cross again soon, whether it's on Orange or on a future project."

Orange is the New Black Season 3 is expected to begin streaming in Summer 2015. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Netflix.
