Joseline Hernandez Says She Was Humiliated by Naked Tweet
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's reality star Joseline Hernandez has admitted that she was embarrassed by her actions when she tweeted full frontal nude photo of herself via Twitter last month in a backlash against fans who have been questioning her gender.
Her recent comments suggest that she may regret the hasty tweet. Hernandez told GlobalGrind.com: "When they were saying 'is she a women, or is she a man?' It frustrated me. It depressed me...It drove me crazy to the point that I did that - send a picture of myself, humiliating myself even more, because I allowed people to get up under my skin."
She continued: "These people are the bullies. Twitpic a picture of myself - who does that, just to prove to you that I'm not what I know I'm not? I will never let anybody take me out of character, where I have to Twitpic myself because somebody said I look like this or I look like that."
VH1 debuted the premiere episode of the show last month, prompting viewers to ask whether Hernandez was really a woman.
Rumors about the stripper-turned reality star's gender was first fueled by Twitter users and bloggers after photos of the cast were released. During a screening for the show last week, YouTube personality Cadillac Kim asked the "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" cast if any of them were transgender.
So to prove that she is indeed a female, Hernandez posted a naked picture of herself with the caption: " I am 100% women [sic] I'm clearly perfect cause that's the only thing y'all can say since I air my dirty laundry on tv. F ck y'all haters."
Although the 34-year-old was left humiliated by the naked tweet, she has something to smile about. She has recently become engaged to Stevie J!
