'The Bachelorette' Andi Dorfman Chooses Josh Murray On Finale: Twitter Fans React To Her Decision
Andi Dorfman had a big choice to make on The Bachelorette finale on Monday night: Nick Viall or Josh Murray?
Dorfman – a former district attorney who was also a contestant on season 18 of The Bachelor – chose Murray, leaving Viall heartbroken.
“I woke up so confident,” Viall told her. “I wish there were certain things you hadn't said or done.”
Following Viall's exit, Murray, a 29-year-old former pro baseball player, proposed to Dorman with an emotional declaration.
“Andi you are the answer to all of my prayers you are the answer to my dreams you are the woman I thought never existed in this world. All my worries they just seem to vanish when I’m with you,” Murray said.
Dorfman, 27, expressed a similar sentiment in a blog post for People.com after the finale.
“I had the pleasure of meeting 25 outstanding men who came from different places and different backgrounds and who have all touched my life,” she wrote. “I came on this journey looking for great love, and I left finding the greatest love all.”
She went on, "You are my best friend, the love of my life, my soulmate, and I love you more than I ever thought I could love somebody. I have never felt happier and more complete in my life, and it's just the beginning!"
Many fans were thrilled with Dorfman's choice and took to Twitter to express their thoughts.
