Emily Maynard Wants Spin-Off Show With New Fiance from The Bachelorette 2012; Spoilers!
"The Bachelorette" reality star Emily Maynard wants to have her own spin-off series after the hit series comes to an end next week. Maynard, who reportedly is relishing the fame garnered from the hit show, is not ready to stop just yet. She wants the spin-off series to feature her new life with fiance Jef Holm as they prepare for their big wedding day.
The show's finale is set to air July 22, where fans of the show will see a romantic proposal.
A source told Radar Online: "Emily wants to do a spin-off show which would include the planning of the wedding. She loves to be in front of the camera, and there are multiple offers on the table for her to do other television shows."
The source continued: "Emily can't formally have discussions yet because the finale hasn't aired," the source revealed. "But she's really excited to get the date, location and all of the details set so that she can marry Jef and having it air on TV fits in perfectly with her plans."
This season's "The Bachelorette" was the first to feature a single-mom as the star.
Maynard was previously engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick when he tragically died in a plane crash in 2004. He died before their daughter, Ricki, 6, was born.
The show was not filmed in the usual Bachelor pad based in Los Angeles. Rather, it was filmed in Charlotte, where Maynard lives. The single mom did not want to move her daughter for her filming and wanted to keep her daughter's routine as normal as possible.
Maynard previously won the Bachelor season starring Brad Womack, but the two broke up after the show and it seems that she has now found the perfect love as the star of "The Bachelorette."
