Dancing With The Stars - All Stars 2012; Season 15 Spoilers; Who Will Make The Cut?
ABC will announce the cast for "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" during the Television Critics Association summer press tour on July 27.
It has been confirmed that Tom Bergeron and Brook Burke will continue to co-host the dancing competition and Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will continue to judge.
However, "DWTS" fans are eager to know who will make the "All Star" cast in advance.
ABC reported that the show has a new twist. Fans will get a chance to pick their favorite contestants from past seasons to come back to the show. Host Tom Bergeron tweeted: "Looking forward to Friday's DWTS All-Star Cast announcement. We'll be announcing all but one, then YOU have to get to work!"
Entertainment Weekly reported that Melissa Rycroft (Season 8), Joey Fatone (Season 4) and Pamela Anderson (Season 10) are likely to return. The show will announce three contestants and fans will get to vote who gets a final spot.
Kendra Wilkinson told Access Hollywood: "Dancing with the Stars was fun. If they consider me an 'All-Star,' of course I'll do it, but if not, I won't cry."
Actor Joey Lawrence tweeted that he would like to return: "peeps I need you!! go asap to https://t.co/TtE5tahQ and vote for me to be on the all-stars season."
Sources told Hollywood Life that producers were considering reality star Kate Gosselin. "They are going to ask Kate but hope they don't have to use her as the cast and crew hated her," the source revealed exclusively. "She would be a last resort."
Actress Melissa Joan Hart who was on the ninth season told Access Hollywood she would never return to the show. "I didn't have the best time on that show... I enjoyed it, but I don't know if I would go back," the star said.
"Access Hollywood" host Mario Lopez told Kelly while co-hosting "Live With Kelly" that he had been approached to participate. "You know what Kelly? They're doing a "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" his next season. They called me to do it," he claimed. Lopez added that he's unsure if he would be returning to the ABC reality series, saying: "I just don't know how I'd be able to pull it off."
Chelsea Kane, the star of ABC Family's "Baby Daddy" who came in third on the 12th season told Access Hollywood she doesn't think she could compete again.
"Am I that masochistic? I don't' know. It's just, it's so hard," she said. "I had such a good time and I really think I got away with murder the first go around with getting third place - I don't know how that happened - so it's hard to imagine going back."
One former contestant has expressed interested in competing again. Olympian Misty May-Treanor who competed on the 2008 series wants to give the show another try after being forced to leave the show due to injuring her Achilles tendon, according to Digital Spy. She posted the message on Facebook and so far has received support from 900 fans.
"Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" will air on Monday, September 24 from 8-10pm and "Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show" will air the following night at the same time.
