They finally reunited and decided to live out the rest of their days together as a happily married couple, but Sami (Allison Sweeney) and E.J.'s (James Scott) relationship could face yet another obstacle on Days of Our Lives.

Susan Gives E.J. A Message

Sami confronted Kristen (Eileen Davidson) about her crimes against Eric (Greg Vaughan) but the altercation backfired when Kristen taunted her that E.J. had initially loved what she had done. After Sami informed her that E.J. had admitting to knowing that Kirsten had drugged and raped Sami's brother before the news went public, Kristen came back at her with the news that E.J. had initially found the news hilarious and was proud of his sister for taking Eric down a notch.

Now, Sami will be forced to question her husband to see if he really did feel that way at the time. If E.J. admits to saying such cruel things about her brother's rape, it could drive yet another wedge in their relationship-and put them back at odds with one another yet again.

Chad Reveals His Real Reasons For Returning To Salem

As the power couple tries to sort through their potentially unresolved issues, E.J.'s brother, Chad (Billy Flynn) is working to successfully take over the family fortune and name by teaming up with Kate (Lauren Koslow) to go up against his father, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).

Though he could be playing both of them in an effort to get to the top, he will still meet with Kate in order to convince her he is on her side-and then two will come up with a plan to outwit his father, and prevent him from returning to Salem to reclaim what it is.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
