Lauren Perdue LeBron James Dinner Offer: The King Rejected Due to a ‘Curfew’ [PHOTOS]
Lauren Perdue is considered one of the premiere female swimmers on the women's side for the United States. Although she recently led her team in qualifying for the 4x200 meter freestyle final, turns out there was another feat she couldn't resist mentioning; a dinner invite from the current king of basketball himself, LeBron James.
Not too long before the Olympic Games had gotten underway, the Men's US Basketball team had taken the opportunity to meet, greet and take photos with some of the female swimmers.
Alongside a picture of herself with the Miami Heat superstar via Instagram, the easy on the eyes swimmer posted a couple of tweets last week in response to the high-profile grub invite.
"LeBron James just invited me to dinner...Um wuuuutttt?!?"
Just after her relay on Wednesday, the freestyle swimmer gave the following details to the Charlotte Observer:
"He was kind of joking but he was basically like, 'Would you like to come eat with me at the dining hall?' And I said, 'Um, I'm sorry, I have a curfew. So I turned that one down, yeah," Perdue stated.
Extremely relevant to note, LeBron James is currently engaged to his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson, whom he has two children with.
