In terms of ranking, Team USA is pretty high up on the list for overall Olympic medal counts.

Well the highest actually, though they are tied in first place.

The U.S. and China both have a total of 27 medals already from the London 2012 Olympic Games, tying them in the top spot. With that said though, China has more gold medals than any other country - coming in with 15 while the U.S. only has 10.

Japan rolled in third place with 15 Olympic medals.

Dividing the medal holders by athletes, U.S. comes in second again. Swimmers Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte are tied with three London Olympic medals. Lochte nabbed two golds and Phelps secured one for himself this week. But which athlete reigns supreme?
