Ever since Michael Muhney left The Young and the Restless, the actor landed several new movie roles far different than his character on the CBS soap opera.

However, this doesn't mean that Muhney has crossed out television for good. When asked by a fan on Twitter on Wednesday whether he would ever return to a "prime time," he assured her he would.
"It's all I did for 11 years! More of it to come when I'm not doin' movies!" the 39-year-old responded.

But, Muhney's return certainly won't be on Young and the Restless. Another fan tweeted the actor and said, "I still have you & Billy Miller's last 5 Y&R eps on my DVR. Is it time to let go?"
To that, Muhney replied, "Let go. Let the caged birds fly. Don't be sad that it's over. Be glad that it happened."
Muhney, who played Adam Newman on Y&R since 2009 and confirmed his exit in August, revealed some information about his upcoming projects via Twitter.
"My latest film roles: 1) The love interest & antagonist. 2) A married man in the closet, coming out. 3) A Redneck White Trash Pimp. #THESPIANism," he teased on Twitter in October. "And this 4th movie? Leading role starts shooting in January. WWII soldier fighting the Nazis...it's English Patient meets Boys From Brazil!"
On Wednesday he also tweeted: "Don't be offended by the foul language in my recent films. Rated R simply means "My audience is a diverse group of civilized adults."
