Allison, who also stars in HBO's Girls, says that playing Peter Pan has been "utter bliss" for her.
In a new interview with People Magazine on Thursday, Williams revealed that she began "flight training" for the role earlier this summer and that flying is "about as fun as you can imagine."
Although, flying also comes with it's risks, as she added, "It becomes uncomfortable really quickly, but that first moment when you are lifted off the ground is just utter bliss. It's a shame we were not built to be airborne."
She even said that she's dreamt of playing Peter Pan all her life.
In an Instagram post she shared nearly three months ago, Williams can be seen wearing a Peter Pan costume when she was just 3-years-old. She captioned the photo with, I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about 3 years old, so this is a dream come true!"
