‘Breaking Amish’ Cast News: Abe & Rebecca Schmucker Banned From Talking To Still Amish Family Members? [PHOTOS]
Though they may no longer be a part of the Amish community, Breaking Amish stars Abe and Rebecca Schmucker are still feeling the heat from the religious sect that used to govern their lives.

The couple posted to their Facebook page last week to ask fans for prayers after Abe's still-Amish sister, Ella, was put into the hospital and had trouble breathing just weeks after having a baby. The couple's decision to ask fans for prayers while she was in the ICU, and continued updates about her progress, has appeared to have gotten them in trouble with the community however-and as a result they are now no longer allowed to have contact with Ella or her family.
The couple posted this new update to the page Oct. 17:

"So just want to say I'm shocked, we got informed that we may no longer have contact with Ella and her husband because we asked y'all for prayers...Abe Coblentz is following this page or stalking it, he's still supposedly Amish and old and has a Facebok," the couple wrote. "He told them that we posted on here about needing prayers for Ella which has now turned them against us. 'Because they are Amish and should not be mentioned on Facebook' was the reason. So I will just mention Abe Coblentz's name and the fact that he is a complete a-hole lmao."
In the comments section of the post, the couple confirmed that the news had been delivered to them by Abe's mother, Mamma Mary, but they are not banned from seeing or speaking to her, his father, Chester, and other no-longer Amish siblings, Katie Ann and Andrew.
A new cast can be seen on episodes of Breaking Amish which air Thursdays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
