Sami (Alison Sweeney) has had a rough few weeks on Days of Our Lives and needs to leave town for a fresh start, but she won't necessary leave alone.

Allison Sweeney Talks Sami's Exit From Days of Our Lives

After the death of her husband E.J. (James Scott), and an investigation into her own stock fraud, Sami was offered an opportunity to head to Hollywood when some executives decided they wanted to make a movie about her life. Following all of the stress she's been feeling, she decides to leave town. However, she could bring someone else with her to Hollywood besides her youngest children.

Her son, Will (Guy Wilson), has been trying to make it as a writer, and caught his big break by writing an article about Sami taking over E.J.'s company-the very same article which caused the Hollywood executives to take interest in his mother's story. Now, because he was the one who wrote the article, he will be offered the opportunity of a lifetime-to head to Hollywood and pen the script for his mother's movie.

Sami To Pay For EJ's Crimes?

However, before he chooses to leave, he will need to seriously think things over, as heading to Hollywood, even though it would only be a temporary arrangement, would mean leaving his daughter, Arianna, and husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith) behind in Salem.

While Will struggles with his decision, E.J.'s brother, Chad (Billy Flynn), will finally make a bold move in his love life by kissing Jordan (Chrishell Stause). The two had struck up a flirtation following his return to Salem, and after dealing with their own individual emotional baggage (Jordan has been dealing with stress from her father while Chad sought to confront E.J. for having an affair with his ex-girlfriend), they will finally begin to take the next steps they need to move forward with their romance.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
