Adam Newman will return to the Young and the Restless next week, but it's hard to forget all the trouble he's caused especially the hit-and-run situation.

Michael Muhney Teases His New Movie Role on Twitter

The character is presumed to be the one responsible for hitting and killing Delia Abbott. It was an episode many Y&R fans couldn't even bare to watch.

Will fans ever be able to forgive the character? According to Justin Hartley, who has replaced Michael Muhney, the answer is yes.

Justin Hartley Compares Michael Muhney's Departure to Derek Jeter

"There's definitely damage control to be done. Adam has massive issues but such a huge heart that you can actually find yourself rooting for him - then you get mad at yourself because he's such a d**k. But this is a culture of forgiveness. We want people to learn from their mistakes, don't we? That's what I preach to my daughter all the time," the actor recently told TV Guide.

However, that doesn’t mean the character won’t stir more trouble in Genoa City. In a new promo, which includes the words "being bad never looked so good," Hartley appears as his character wearing a white dress shirt and a blue blazer.

"I'm back," he says in the clip. "It's redemption time. You can't keep a bad man down."

Hartley will make his first appearance as Adam Newman on Nov. 5.
