‘Sister Wives’ Cast News: Meri Defends Decision To Remain In Polygamous Marriage, ‘It’s About Love & Commitment’ [PHOTO]
The Brown family has had several critics since the premiere of their TLC reality series Sister Wives, but they won't be letting their critics bother them.
In fact, Meri, the first and only legal wife of Kody Brown, recently took to Twitter to defend her decision to remain in her marriage, despite her husband also sharing relationships with Janelle, Christine and Robyn, telling a fan who asked why she stayed that she was happy with the arrangement because it was about the man she loved.
"Its abt love and commitment," she responded to a fan who wrote her Nov. 1 and said, "Why r u still in situation of sharing ur husband. I guess you forgot wisdom & morals." Other fans also slammed the insult to Meri, commenting on the tweet with full support of the reality star, with one even pointing out that at least Meri knew her husband was with other women, unlike the wives of cheating and lying men.
Meri Tweets About A Brown Family Reunion
"Many women are sharing their husband & don't know it!! At least Kody is innocent and loving!! Rock on Brown family," the fan wrote.
Though she is defending her decision to remain in the marriage, Meri has previously hinted dissatisfaction with the relationship arrangement, and even caused fans to speculate that she hadn't seen the other kids in the family in a while because she was keeping her distance.
"Looking at my gift from Solomon makes me miss the little guy!" she tweeted alongside a photo Oct. 4.
Sister Wives is expected to return to TLC in 2015.
