The tweets below are just some of the few from the tons of fans who are using the hashtah "#SaveDallas" to get the network’s attention.
Yet, TV Guide Magazine senior critic Matt Roush doesn't think The CW is the right fit for the show starring Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe.
"Of course I wish fans luck and would never discourage these efforts, as you never know what the result will be, but I'd be shocked if The CW picked up Dallas," he said in a new "Ask Matt" article. "It hardly seems the proper demographic, and while the network does have a history for soapy serials of various styles - some good (Jane), some dreadful (Hart of Dixie) - the recent successful surge of fantasy/sci-fi/superhero genre fare suggests it's not a top network priority these days."
TNT announced the reboot's cancellation after three seasons in early October. Since the cancellation, old and new Dallas fans are continuously posting tweets to get another network's attention and have even signed a petition on Causes.com, which has over 80,000 signatures to date.
