Kim Kardashian is most commonly seen wearing designer duds and the hottest couture, but on Aug. 26 she'll be donning something unexpected — an orange prison jumpsuit.

Not to worry — Kim. K isn't serving life. The jumpsuit is just a costume for her guest appearance on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva."
Kardashian appeared in several episodes of "Diva" earlier this summer as Nikki LePree, who becomes friends with April, played by April Bowby. But Kardashian's character then steals her new best friend's life savings, after April planned to use it for the pair to open up a pie and cake shop.
And based on this new photo, it seems the consequences for the theft have caught up with Nikki, prison jumpsuit and all.
Fans can get the entire scoop when Kardashian appears on the Aug. 26 episode of "Drop Dead Diva," which airs on Lifetime at 9 p.m.
Kardashian has been busy lately. She's also appearing this month on the cover of New York Magazine's fashion issue in a piece that explores why the fashion maven has gotten a chilly reception from some powerful people - like Anna Wintour, who allegedly banned her from the legendary Met Costume Institute Gala - as well as her increasingly buzz-worthy relationship with rapper Kanye West.
