Ryan Lochte 90210: Star Swimmer Admits He Flubbed Lines And 'Was A Little Nervous Going To Set'
U.S. Olympian heart throb Ryan Lochte apparently felt a bit out of place upon his recent arrival on the set of "90210." Much like first getting wet in a cold pool, the star apparently was a bit rusty performing his lines during his debut guest spot.
Lochte, who actually plays himself in the role, was involved in a hotel scene that had him crossing paths with series regulars AnnaLynne McCord and Josh Zuckerman.
The 28-year old came clean to having butterflies and to initially flubbing his lines upon stepping foot on the program's set, according to US Weekly Magazine.
"It was my first acting gig and I was a little nervous going on set. I kind of messed up my lines the first couple of takes, but after talking with the cast and them helping me out, I started nailing it towards the end and it felt normal," he explained.
"They knew it was my first time, so they wanted to make it as easy as possible," the swimmer added.
Since the end of the Games, Lochte has reportedly moved to California in order to continue to pursue his entertainment endeavors, according to the Huffington Post.
The star has also expressed interest in appearing in reality television shows "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars."
The Ryan Lochte episode of "90210" will be airing on Monday, Oct. 29th at 9 PM EST on the CW.
