'Glee' Appearance: Kate Hudson Will Play Sexy Teacher to Lea Michele in New Season
Actress Kate Hudson will follow in the footsteps of many other celebrities by making a guest appearance on the hit television series "Glee."
According to US Weekly, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy posted on Aug. 14 a new picture of Hudson on his Twitter page with the caption "Kate Hudson in action."
The image shows the actress in black fishnet stockings and a black leotard as she has her arms and her leg wrapped around a male costar. The photo gives fans a glimpse into Hudson's new character. In the FOX hit's upcoming fourth season, the actress will play Cassandra July, Rachel Berry's dance teacher at the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts.
US Weekly reported that Lea Michele, who plays Berry on "Glee," admitted in an interview in July that Hudson is one of the best guests to feature on the show.
"I'm so obsessed with her. She's one of the greatest comedic actresses right now and I just think she's so great," Michele, 25, said. "I really think having...Kate Hudson come in for our fourth season is so exciting. I think I'm more excited for this season than ever before."
The new season of "Glee," premiering on Sept. 13 at 9 p.m., will also have guest appearances by Anne Hathaway and Sarah Jessica Parker, who will play a Vogue magazine journalist.
John Stamos, Eve and Kristin Chenoweth have already been on the show, along with Gwyneth Paltrow - who performed a memorable rendition of Cee Lo Green's "F-k You." The actress also surprised audiences at the "Glee" world tour by coming up on stage in front of millions and singing the hit once more.
