Salem could soon be saying goodbye to one of its resident bad girls on Days of Our Lives.

According to The Inquisitor, Jen Lilley, who portrays Theresa Donovan, could be considering leaving the NBC soap to pursue a musical career, after Capital Records reportedly expressed interest in signing her for a record deal. It has reportedly been confirmed that she is set to record two albums.
If Lilley does leave the show to pursue a musical career, it would leave the fictional town without its resident bad girl. Since arriving in Salem, Theresa has caused problems for JJ (Casey Moss), attacked John Black (Drake Hogestyn), caused Brady (Eric Martsolf) to relapse into his addictive behaviors, been the subject of a suspected faked pregnancy, and constantly fought with Melanie (Molly Burnett). Her disappearance from town would leave everyone with significantly less drama.
However, Theresa may not be the only one who could leave town, as her niece, Paige (True O'Brien) , could also be set to leave Salem as well.
Paige is reportedly set to soon learn that the woman JJ cheated on her with was none other than her own mother, Eve (Kassie De Paiva), and she will be so disgusted by the truth that she won't be able to stay in the same town as either one of them any longer.
If both characters exit the canvas soon, they would be two of several who left or are set to leave in the next few months. Show vets Allison Sweeney (Sami Brady) and James Scott (EJ DiMera) both left last fall, and Chrishell Stause (Jordan Ridgeway) is set to leave later this Spring.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
